Will you travel for a shoot?
I definitely will as long as travel expenses are covered.
Where do you find the people you shoot with?
Honestly most of the people I shoot with will contact me. I will however reach out to models who I think would benefit my portfolio. A great resource when starting out is to use www.modelmayhem.com to find local models.
Do you give lessons?
Because of recent requests, I have started consulting and doing private lessons. I can teach technique, technical aspects of using your camera properly, and post production methods.
Do you shoot weddings?
I do shoot weddings and prefer to do it with a fellow photographer because shooting weddings alone is a little much.
Where do you get your setups and ideas for your shoots?
I typically have a location in mind, and it may even just be a general area rather than something specific. Whatever comes after arriving at the location is unplanned. I’ve found that the best shots often come after the model and myself are really comfortable with one another and start having fun. I look at each shoot as a kind of adventure, we don’t necessarily plan out every detail and that candid environment creates some fun and cool shots.
